Our Executive Director, Cynthia Loría, participated as a panelist in the Forum on Models of Socioeconomic Inclusion in Guatemala, organized by Fundación Avina and El Directorio, with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

We appreciate the opportunity to share this space with representatives from the IDB and the Observatory of Indigenous Peoples of Guatemala, to strengthen dialogue, best practices, and lessons learned that foster real opportunities, especially regarding human mobility.

At Fundación HAME, we presented our experiences with programs such as Guate es tu Tierra, ¡Quédate! and Mi primer empleo en Grupo HAME, which strengthen skills, promote formal employment, and contribute to the well-being of communities. The event brought together social organizations, international cooperation agencies, and academia, generating a valuable exchange on current challenges and initiatives that promote effective socioeconomic inclusion.

We trust that these spaces will continue to promote alliances and collaborative actions to build a more inclusive and sustainable Guatemala.
